Christian J. TaylorOctober 13, 1995 - August 7, 2015Christian James Taylor- a loving 19 year old, brother and friend- should be alive today. "CJ," as he was affectionately known, should be looking forward to the next chapter in his life. Tragically, and without lawful justification, Christian's life was taken though an act of reckless homicide by a rookie former Arlington Police Officer Brad Miller. Christian was unarmed.

JACK OF ALL TRADES
Christian loved football. He began playing at a tender age and also ran track, as well as played basketball. He was also a member of the chess club and wrap-it-up, a competitive math club. BORN THIS WAY
He played his high school career of football at Mansfield Summit High School, where he eventually became a captain and leader of the team. During the offseason, Christian continued to set new goals for himself. After receiving over 30 first place track & field medals, Christian was view as a standout leader and classmate in his high school class. THE JOURNEY
Christian excelled academically as well as athetically. He maintained a 90.8 GPA and was in the top third of his high school class. As a result, he earned both and academic and athletic scholarship to attend Angelo State University. |
